Designed by Ahylo Studio, Froyo yogurteria in Volos is an application of the architectural branding held for ‘Froyo Yogurteria’. The main design goal was to emphasize on a clean architectural proposal and highlight the product (frozen yogurt). Abstract, double curvature surfaces form the ceiling and the counter for the yogurt toppings. The fresh icon of the store emerges from the identification of the fresh products along with the compilation of the materials and colors. The form-finding processes of the customized geometries are following simple cosine functions that generate a set of algorithmic relationships. In terms of design, topological correlations are applied, through varying parameters, as appropriate metrics to spatial adjustment for each froyo yogurteria store. The uniqueness of each store is obtained with the different handling of the implementation of these correlations, along with the flexibility over the material and fabrication process. Thus, every individual store is unique while at the same time following the algorithmic set of rules of the main space branding strategy. Project Info:
