Yamaka Building | METAVORTEX Architects

Yamaka Building was designed by METAVORTEX Architects, By Metro Line is established, the site changed from an agricultural area to a commercial area. The project is located near the new Metro station, including a famous vegetable restaurant in Sendai. So, the concept is related to the tradition of agriculture and local vegetables.
There are tenants in the first and second floors and housings in the rest floors. The façade has a pattern by the windows, which is focused as a center of this area.
Yamaka is used natural materials such as concrete, metal, and transparent one to get wind, sunlight, and green.
The project has a visible system of energy consumption to save energy.
